Fast MP3 Cutter Joiner cuts and trims a large MP3 file into multiple smaller pieces, and joins multiple MP3 files into a single file. It also offers forward and backward overlap, fade-in and fade-out, keeping ID3, batch cut, and batch join.
Features: Fast MP3 Cutter Joiner can cut up large MP3 files into smaller pieces as also append multiple smaller pieces into a larger one. Files as large as 10 GB can be handled by the application. The application lets you cut the pieces by various methods. Such as number of pieces, time duration of a piece or some other custom selection. There is a visual aid in the form of a slider which can be used to mark the points where the larger track should be cut. Preview is available. You could cut the pieces so that there are some forward and backward overlap. You can add fade in fade out effects at the breaks too. The MP3 cutter keeps ID3 tags information and supports to custom title of target MP3 ID3 tag. For example, you can add sequence number to title, which can identify output pieces in your MP3 player, iPod, and iTunes easily. Batch cuts are supported based on cutting criteria. The cutting happens without the need for re-encoding of the tracks or its pieces. Quality is maintained. The joiner will take different pieces, even if they are encoded differently (bit rate, sampling etc.). The target MP3 parameters can be defined by you. Like the batch cut, batch join is supported. You can insert one or more MP3 files to beginning of a batch MP3 file, and append one or more MP3 files to end of a batch MP3 file.
Overall: Simple cutter and joiner could be useful when recording legacy stuff such as tape etc.
